...because what's better to soften the blow of Monday morning than some absolutely beautiful wedding shoes?
I've always been enamored with non-white wedding shoes, they're so much fun and very unique! After all, if you're going to buy an awesome pair of shoes to wear on such a big day- why buy white?
{I realize that a LOT of people wear white shoes under their wedding dress, and there's nothing wrong with that- I just wanted something a little more fun}
I originally said I was going to wear some jeweled sandals instead of heels on my big day. However, after seeing all the jaw-dropping possibilities, I'm very much so re-thinking the sandals idea. After all, when's a better time to buy a {probably way too-expensive} pair of ridiculously pretty heels than for your wedding?
Here are some of my favorites that I've found:
{this one comes in a ton of colors, too}
And the Holy Grail of all wedding shoes, in my opinion {and the ones that I have been dreaming about for my own wedding since trying them on a few weeks ago...}
The sparkles, the bow, everything is just perfection. I'm in love.
What shoes did you wear underneath your wedding dress?

The last ones for sure!!! So pretty. I wore some plain old white sandals from the wedding dress shop - but I did have my toenails painted lime green! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the lime green toenails idea- how fun!
DeleteMine were a fun purple color; almost the exact color of our bridesmaids dressed. LOVED Them
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of your shoes being the color of your bridesmaids' dresses! My bridesmaids are wearing black, though- oh well!
Deleteoh I love the first one- the gold is so pretty! I'm not a huge fan of the super bright colors for shoes, just not my personal taste, but I definitely love the silver and gold ones you found! So fun! Just found your blog and have really enjoyed getting to know you better! I'm excited to follow along! Do you have a way to follow through GFC?

The silver Kate Spades are my favorite- I keep justifying them by saying that I could wear them all the time after the wedding :) I have a Google Friend Connect widget on the right side of my blog- is it not showing up? Heading to go check out your blog right now :)
Deletethose blue ones with the bling on them look like the ones in sex & the city!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing- LOVE THEM! Too bad they don't match the light blue flowers we're using...
DeleteOh my gosh! Such cute, fun shoes! I LOVE the idea of a bright colored pair of shoes for a wedding! :)

I've never even thought about shoes with a wedding dress, but I think I'd go for some trusty black shoe with some silver studs or other hardware. It's who I am, haha.
ReplyDeleteCute blog, glad I found you! I'll take a pair of the charms :)
